As invited by the Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli to pay respect to those who are
working in the frontline to combat Covid 19 including the health workers, journalists,
media workers, security forces, all types of civil servants and the contribution of self-
disciplined general public, the tribute has been provided by chanting National Anthem
and one-minute clapping dated 13 April 2020.

In the program organized at Tilganga Media Village, Acting Chairman of Press Council
Nepal Mr. Kishor Shrestha, Chairman of Federation of Nepalese Journalist (FNJ) Mr.
Govinda Acharya, Chairman of Minimum Remuneration Fixation Committee Mr.
Rajendra Aryal, Board member of Press Council Nepal Mr. Govinda Chaulagain, Chief
Administrative Officer of the Council Mr. Jhabindra Bhusal, General Secretary of FNJ
Mr. Ramesh Bista, Chairman of Photo Journalist Club Mr. Bikash Karki and other office
bearers as well as media workers were present in the program.

The participants jointly sang the National Anthem and clapped together to show their
respect towards the health workers, security force, media workers and the staffs who
have been playing vital role in favor of the nation and the people in this critical moment
of the crisis, ignoring the risks to their own and family lives.
